Why are the Feynman Lectures so famous?
The Feynman Lectures are so popular mainly because of Feynman. He was an insightful guy, and very accessible. Definitely as good an educator as he was a physicist, if not better. The lectures (at least Volumes 1 & 2 which I’ve read) take typical undergrad topics and introduce them in a novel, Feynmanesque way.
Is Richard Feynman a mathematician?
Richard Feynman was brilliant in mathematics as is well known. During his Princeton entrance examination for graduate program in physics, he had a perfect score in the mathematics section which was an unheard of feat. Einstein presided over his first seminar in graduate school.
Was Feynman good at school?
Feynman graduated from Far Rockaway High School in Queens, and while still a high school student, he taught himself trigonometry, advanced algebra, analytic geometry and calculus. He always excelled in subjects related to math and science, and he won the New York University Math Championship for high school students.

What is the intro to physics?
A brief introduction to physics. Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We’ll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we’ll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations.
Can you explain quantum physics?
Quantum physics is applicable to explain the fundamental nature of the universe, regarding matter and energy, for example, the nature of the particles of atom – electrons, protons and neutrons. With the development of quantum theory, queries like stability of electron orbits and black body radiation could be explained scientifically.
What is theory in physics?
1 : a theory in physics based on the concept of the subdivision of radiant energy into finite quanta and applied to numerous processes involving transference or transformation of energy in an atomic or molecular scale. 2 : quantum mechanics.
What is the concept of Physics?
Physics is a systematic study of the natural world, particularly the interaction between matter and energy. It is a discipline that attempts to quantify reality through a precise application of observation coupled with logic and reason. In experimental physics, physicists address a scientific problem using techniques such as the scientific method in an attempt to prove a hypothesis.
