What makes science special to you?
For me, science is special in that it tells us how things work and that is something that interests me greatly. My own field is social sciences and history, but I am interested in those for the same reason — I like to know why things are the way they are. Science can explain this (or at least it can try).
Do you find science boring?
The world is a fascinating place, and science has many, many worlds to explore, with most of them not visible to us on a daily basis. I’m fascinated by astronomy, the biology of the oceans, medical research, ad on and on. There are just way too many things to be interested in to ever find science boring. Same with history for me.
Do you have a head for Science?
Some people really seem to have a head for science. Whether it’s chemistry or biology, it just really clicks for with some people and then maybe they go on to revolutionize the way we think about the universe. The rest of us just have to sit back and enjoy the ride, maybe keep up as best as we can.
