Georgia Tech is a fine school. I am sure its CS department is quite good…probably top 10. The name MIT has more clout certainly making it more portable. 10 years out, it will mean much less. I can tell you it got me into medical school and a residency spot in orthopedics (probably the most difficult sub-specialty to get into).
