Everything is great at TCS Except for the salary packages, work and benefits provided by TCS is wonderful. Feel more secure for your job at TCS than any company can provide. Most of the projects TCS has are of support and maintenance which is a bit of a problem while trying for a company shift.

Is it normal to get bored after working at TCS for years?

It is normal to get bored after working on the same stuff for 2–3 years. However the managers hardly allow the employees to get a release from their project. Nobody cares about the personal aspiration of the employees. Getting a release in TCS is next to impossible and hence they end up resigning.

Why did 40K people suddenly resign from TCS?

First of all, 40k people didn’t resigned suddenly, TCS received 43k resignations received in the last 12 months. There is nothing like TCS management is doing something wrong, people are just circulating & incrementing their CTC. TCSer going to accenture, accenture people going to Infosys & Infosys people going to TCS.

How hard is it to learn new projects in TCS?

In TCS its quite hard to learn anything. The thing is not only projects, even the people inside are not great. They are technical but doing job without any interest/ambition/aspiration & everything is super hard in tcs be it taking a leave or release or promotion. Is there any future in TCS after 100\% hike?

Sooner or later they understood that there is no future in TCS . They just switch for a 100–130 percent hike (thanks to 3 months NP & multiple offer scheme). I have personally seen that, companies are giving 10–20\% hike over another offer. If you are getting both (money & learning) in a job its great.
