Wolverine would be much lighter on his feet, more mobile, healthier, and have prolonged longevity (perhaps to the point of immortality) without the Adamantium poisoning. Wolverine’s bones would not be as physically indestructible if they were coated with Vibranium and he would lose cutting power in his claws.
Can the Wolverine live forever?
This proves that Wolverine is not able to live forever, even if his skeleton is composed of a virtually indestructible alloy. In “X-Men: Evolution” Wolverine was captured and fell from a plane and broke his arm. Despite being virtually indestructible, it took him a while before he fully recovered.

Adamantium is toxic, and without his regenerative powers, Logan would have died of Adamantium poisoning long ago. Here’s hoping real world scientists can make Wolverine ‘s healing possible sooner, rather than later.

Logan’s whole skeleton is covered by a toxic metal. That amount of admantium would most definitely kill him if it were not for his healing factor. So, a part of his natural healing factor is constantly healing him from all the ill effects of having Admantium on his bones.
