What classes do I need to take to become a doctor?
Longer answer: The pre med classes are Calculus I and II, General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Biology I and II, and Physics I and II. You’ll already take Calc when you do Computer Science – for the rest, you’ll have to take them outside your CS courses. It’s definitely doable, and it may not be easy at times, but it’s worth it.
Should I major in CS or pre-med?
I would choose CS as the major (not a minor). As Kayee said, most premeds don’t end up becoming doctors, so it’s good to have a strong backup. CS is also a fantastic field to be in right now.
