A sitting President would not likely be arrested for a crime. There are two reasons for this. First is simple: the circumstances of the Presidency pretty much limit a situation that would, for example, see the President commit murder, rape, or other violent crimes that would demand immediate arrest.
Can a president-elect enter the White House if he/she has been arrested?
This depends. If the President-elect is arrested but not yet convicted, he or she is still capable of entering the White House. However, many of his/her privileges would (could) be restricted, such as his/her security clearance (see below).
