  3. Tell someone. Telling someone we know about our goals also seems to increase the likelihood that we will stick at them.
  4. Break your goal down.
  5. Plan your first step.
  6. Keep going.
  7. Celebrate.

Why is the goal important to your life?

Setting goals helps trigger new behaviors, helps guides your focus and helps you sustain that momentum in life. Goals also help align your focus and promote a sense of self-mastery. Setting goals not only motivates us, but can also improve our mental health and our level of personal and professional success.

Are You rejecting Yourself by not trying to achieve your goals?

We need to use the lessons from the past, not be haunted by them. Rejection sucks, plain and simple. But the fact is, by not trying, you’re self-rejecting. You’re rejecting yourself! You have to give yourself a fighting chance. Making a huge shift is scary as hell. All of the things required to achieve self-actualization are daunting.

Are Your Goals achievable?

Goals are attainable. Don’t let anyone tell you they aren’t. Don’t buy into the noise of hardship, disappointment, and failure. The noise is hypnotic; it mires you to stopping points and unfocuses your eyes.

To have no goals, no dreams and no ambition is simply the beginning. We can feel alone in this darkness. We might have lost our confidence. We can even feel like half a man. If we are seeking help then we are on the right path. Now we see there are possibilities and less closed doors.
