Can I skip seasons of Doctor Who?
Seasons/Episodes You Can Skip: For seasons 1 through 4, Russell T. Davies is in charge, and from Season 5 onwards, it’s Steven Moffat. You’ll always see a Dalek, for example, and there will probably be a “Doctor-Light” episode allowing someone else to take the spotlight, and so on.
Which Dr Who season should I start with?

When did doctor who start and end?
Doctor Who started in 1963, but was cancelled in the 80s and subsequently revived in 2005. It’s been running ever since. I’m assuming you want to start with the post-2005 revived show, called “New Who” or “NuWho,” so this list covers that.
