Can I write a Marvel comic?

Can I use Marvel images on my products?
You need a license for the copyrights associated with the actual images/drawings of the characters. You need a license for the trademarks associated with the Marvel/DC branding logos as well as some of the character logos.
Can I write Marvel Comics and sell them?
You can write whatever you want, you can create your own comics using Marvel (or DC) heroes to your heart’s content, however you cannot sell them or in any way profit from the use of these characters. if you do then expect to find a small army of lawyers on your doorstep.
Is it legal to create a Spider-Man story with DC characters?
This is exactly how DC and Marvel take characters from each other. Give it a try and dodge the characters of marvel, you will end up with a lot of DC characters. Legally, no. Realistically, maybe. Those characters are copyrighted by Marvel, meaning they own Spider-Man and could sue you for creating a Spider-Man story.
Can I send unsolicited materials to Marvel?
Marvel is continuously developing and creating its own ideas and materials, and we don’t have the resources to review or respond to unsolicited material. Unfortunately, any unsolicited material you send will not be read or shared.
Does Marvel accept creative suggestions or ideas?
Marvel does not accept or consider any ideas, creative suggestions, artwork, designs, game proposals, scripts, manuscripts, or similar material unless we have specifically requested it from you. Marvel is continuously developing and creating its own ideas and materials, and we don’t have the resources to review or respond to unsolicited material.
