Can two phones use the same charger?
Not at all. In fact, a higher amperage charger will likely charge your phone even faster, and it can do so safely. Basically, all modern batteries are built with with a chip that regulates the input—they will allow what they can handle.
Can we use Type C charger from both sides?
Reversible and interchangeable USB-C is reversible, which means that unlike the Micro-USB plug you used on your last phone (a USB-B shape), you can stick in a USB-C cable any which way; either side is “up.” No more fumbling around or swearing under your breath when you have trouble plugging in.

It’s safe, but i would recommend an externally powered one. It depends ALOT on the laptop, if it will be able to power the 10-port hub. For example, my Samsung laptop outputs nearly 1A of current from one port, where the limitations to usb standard is 550mA if i remember correctly.
Does side matter on USB-C?
Like Lightning and MagSafe, the USB-C connector has no up or down orientation. Line up the connector properly, and you never have to flip it over to plug it in; the “right way” is always up. You can, but if you are using usb port in pc to draw power then it will take years to charge multiple device. Coz the current o/p will be in range of 0.5A to <1A. To charge multiple devices using such low o/p will take a lot of time. So laptop come with dedicated charging ports which will give an o/p of 1.5A. So may be this will work. .
Can a laptop charge over USB-C without a charger?
