How is the Sun different to other planets?
A sun or star is a large body consisting of mainly Hydrogen and helium. A planet is any body which orbits a star and has cleared its orbit of other bodies. A planet can be anything from a small rocky body to a large gas giant. To put it in perspective the Sun contains over 99.8\% of the mass of the solar system.
How does time work differently on other planets?
A clock in outer space moves more quickly than a clock on Earth. Heavy things like planets create a gravitational field that slows down time nearby. This means that a clock on a spaceship far away from any planet would move faster than a clock near Earth.

Are there planets with different time?
There is only one way to measure the rate at which time passes and that is by Earth’s rotation on it’s axis relative to the Sun and stars. Mercury and Venus rotate so slowly that a time based on those planets is impractical. Mars rotates much the same as our Earth. Jupiter?
