You cannot convert a kick start bike in to self start unless the designer of the bike engine has already provided a suitable mounting for the motor with extra gearing provision…as it is it’s not possible to convert from kick start bike in to self start bike…. It means the engine’s flooded.

WORKING PRINCIPLE (How to Work Self Start Mechanism) The battery voltage is passed through the starter control circuit to activate the solenoid. Starter motor is powered by the solenoid which helps the starter gear forward to engage with the engine flywheel. This flywheel is placed (mounted) over the engine crankshaft.

If you install it from outside it’ll cost approximately 7k to 8k better you go for Bullet ES 350.

Does the Bullet 350 have a self start?

Yes. New BS6 Bullet 350 ES comes with self start and you can also install from outside and the expenses will be Rs.10,000/- approx. The clutch chamber self starter self pinions and switch gear needs to be changed for later models 2003 -2007 and previous models the crank stud needs to be changed additional.

Is it possible to install a standard model with a self starter?
