Here, even simple activites like getting a haircut can be extremely frustrating if you don’t speak good Mandarin. As far as recreational activites go, Dalian has a lot of things you can do during the summer time. Because it is a seaside city, Dalian has some beaches, but most of them are too dirty for swimming.
