After the course students get chances in industries as well as in IT companies. Both ECE and EIE candidates get equal chances in IT firms. IT checks their programming skills and problem solving skills. Both are good branches but EIE get more chances in industries where ECE candidates are less preferred.

No, Instrumentation and Control engineering is not a core branch. Their are only three core branches- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.
