Is it bad to lean on your knees?
Sitting on your knees won’t cause a medical emergency. But if you frequently sit in this position, it can strain your knees and ankles. The posture also reduces blood circulation in your lower limbs. If you must sit on your knees, change positions regularly and keep your spine neutral and relax your shoulders.
What happens if you bend your knees too much?

Why you should never lock your knees?
Having your knees locked causes the curve of the lower back to become exaggerated. This puts stress on your spine, over contracting the spinal erectors and other muscles of the low back, increasing pain in the area, as well as making it more difficult to engage your core muscles.
Why do elderly walk with bent knees?

The hamstrings are the large muscles in the back of your leg that connect your pelvis to your lower leg.
Why is my knee clicking?
The noise occurs because tiny air bubbles (nitrogen) accumulate within the fluid inside your joints and when you move, they collapse (or burst) due to the changes in pressure inside the joint. The noise occurs when the gas bubbles collapse. When the bubbles burst this is called ‘cavitation’.
