Is it okay for an atheist to go to church?
Yes, an atheist can go to a church.
How do you make time go faster in church?
What if I can’t bring anything to church? Listen to the sermon or liturgy and try your best to apply it to your life, or just clear your mind and let God speak to you. If I am forced to go to church, don’t judge me if they want to pass the time in a creative way. Listen to the sermon.
What hinders a church from growing?
Some of the resource shortages you might run into are: Lacking staff members to teach classes, handle daycare, and manage the church. Too many leadership positions will open that you are unprepared to fill. Lacking the funds to expand your church.
Do new atheists have anything to add to the discussion?
It seems that many atheists today (some like to use the title ‘New Atheists’ to distinguish them from the more profound philosophical atheists of yesteryear) have very little to add to the discussion. To be fair, the same goes with most Christian apologists. However, I thought it would be fun to comment on the ten arguments I hear the most.
What is the difference between a Christian and an atheist?
After all, Christians are “Atheists” for thousands of gods from other religions since they lack belief in those gods! The problem is, there is a huge difference between a Theist (such as a Christian) and an Atheist. Theists believe in a supreme, personal creator of the Universe. Atheists don’t.
What can I do to prepare for church?
Take small, quiet, craft projects to complete during church. Be aware that you will need to do any paper cutting in advance, as scissors make noise when you cut paper. Some “church crafts” that might be appropriate are: Ribbon Bookmarks.
Is it disrespectful to use technology in church?
No. Church is made for worship, and it is disrespectful to be using technology during your time there. It is best to just read the Bible, doodle or some other silent activity that is acceptable. Thanks!
