Is the future determined?

Is the future determined?

In quantum mechanics the outcome of measurements is in general not determined when given the exact physical state of the system in general. But apart from the uncertainty arising from this, the future is as determined as is the present.

Does past still exist?

In short, space-time would contain the entire history of reality, with each past, present or future event occupying a clearly determined place in it, from the very beginning and for ever. The past would therefore still exist, just as the future already exists, but somewhere other than where we are now present.

Does future and past exist at the same time?

Unlike a “flowing river”, time does not behave as we perceive it. Past, present and future they exist simultaneously, but in different dimensions. This thought has a basis in the theory of unified space and time, proposed by Albert Einstein in 1915.

Can I go back in time?

The Short Answer: Although humans can’t hop into a time machine and go back in time, we do know that clocks on airplanes and satellites travel at a different speed than those on Earth. NASA’s space telescopes also give us a way to look back in time. Telescopes help us see stars and galaxies that are very far away.

Is there such a thing as ‘the future’?

There is no such thing as the future. Let’s take a second to appreciate the fact, that the future is just a made up concept. It’s a projection of what we think will happen, one of many possible outcomes, at best an extrapolation based on what happened in the past. We gravely underestimate our power, to shape and influence the future.

Does the universe really exist?

Indeed the universe does exist. We’re living in it. When we gaze at the night sky, whatever amazing sight that you see is the universe. The present time is best time of the universe.

Is the future real?

It is different from other real conditional forms because, unlike the present or the past, you do not know what will happen in the future. Although this form is called “real”, you are usually imagining or guessing about the future. It is called “real” because it is still possible that the action might occur in the future.

Is the past real?

The past is more real than the present. For beings who observe anyway. Every observable moment you live, your every thought is always in the past. We can only exist in the present and predict the possibilities of the future.
