How do you know it’s God and not your heightened emotions?
At the end of that experience God’s love and sovereignty is affirmed versus reveling in the fact that I had a good feeling or particular sensation. That’s how I know it’s God and not my heightened emotions. I experience the presence of God in different ways but most times I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and trust.
