It’s high time for technological innovations that would break the stalemate. Voyager as such would probably spend a portion of time in spacedock undergoing some retrofits to latest SF standards, and hopefully retain all the modifications the crew did to it over their 7 years in the D.Q. (not necessarily with the futuristic tech).
