What happens if I miss my graduation ceremony?
If you qualify to graduate and don’t go to the graduation ceremony, the school will keep your diploma for you to pick up later, or simply mail it to you. The graduation itself is just a ceremony, it has no effect on your grades or credits earned.

Do you regret skipping high school and college?
It depends on the person. highschool yes, college no. Don’t regret skipping highschool, would have been fine skipping college to, but it meant a lot to my mom so that’s fine I didn’t go. Went to my high school graduation and was bored as hell during every second.
Do you regret missing college commencement ceremony?
The only reason I regret missing it is because my friends told me how comically wrong the whole ceremony went. My relatives were upset, but I promised them I wouldn’t skip out on college commencement (I didn’t, they were happy). Ultimately the whole thing isn’t so much for you as it is for your loved ones.
Do you regret going to NYU?
No regrets. I went to NYU. the University is made up of 13 smaller colleges. My family came to the one for my college because it was smaller and easier. The big university-wide graduation happened a few days later and it’s always a shit show with over 10,000 people in violet robes walking around Washington Square Park.
