The Mad Titan, Thanos, and the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, could be the strongest bad guys of their respective universes, both in terms of physical strength and character depth. Since the conception of Star Wars, geeks have considered Darth Vader to be one of the greatest villains of all time.

If Iron Man has some range then he can just pummel Vader with his impressive array of weaponry until one of them takes out the Dark lord. Then again Iron Man is no slouch in melee combat either and has stood up to the likes of Ultron and Thor in battle.

Thanos has NEVER beaten or stomped galactus in a one on one fight. Not even close to winning. In “Hunger” Thanos admitted his blast did nothing to irritate Galactus. In “Hunger” thanos was on his knees begging Galactus not to kill him.
