Why are Indians crazy about Iits?

The general craze started when it came in news that some companies place a few students (India and mostly abroad) at extremely high packages– 30 lacs, 40 lacs, 60 lacs, 80 lac, even 1 crore per annum. Since then, every parents dream that their child will get such salary after first job, hence IIT.

Why are so many IITians jobless?

It is mainly due to low CPI, poor communication and management skills. Some people really do not have interest in engineering but as they had cleared JEE so they are in race. For them B. Tech from IIT is just a graduation degree, which makes them eligible for MS(basically research), IIM’s, UPSC etc.

Why do companies not prefer btechs in IITs?

IITians are dynamic, they leave the job and switch to other better opportunity. The company looses a lot due to attrition, time is money which is again going to waste by interviewing, training and all. So the company do not prefer btech except cs guys, bcoz they have the required knowledge and that domain is more dynamic.

Does every IIT student get a job?

Actually most of the IIT students get a job but yes this is a truth that not everyone gets the job!! Many of them also dont have the job upto the mark. Going to an IIT is not enough. You need to work hard and to develop skills. Moreover dont prefer a college but prefer a good branch which makes the task easier.
