Why do I mimic characters personalities?
We imitate an emulate people we like, admire and respect in order to be like them. In some cases, we are subconsciously attempting to mirror the other person’s emotions (when face-to-face with them) in order to communicate a sense of empathy, or friendly similarity in interests.
Why do I act like the characters I watch?
It is normal in some cases. e.g. If you watch a character and get influenced and start thinking like him or trying to act like him is very normal,because movies and TV shows are meant to influence us. But if a person is trying to act too much like a character then it is abnormal.

Why do I sometimes act like the characters in movies?
It’s most likely because you personally enjoy the character and you’re just developing a subconscious desire to adapt a similar behavior because you register a positive reaction to whatever elements cause the enjoyment. After watching a movie, I sometimes start to act a bit like the characters by adopting their mannerisms and gestures.
How do you critique a movie after viewing it?
The window of time immediately following the viewing is critical. Since I don’t take a lot of notes during the movie, one of the most important aspects of writing a critique is to stay focused and write down all of the things that stood out to me about the film.
What makes a character stand out from other characters in movies?
Characters from movies or TV are usually not a typical average person (Dexter Morgan, Gregory House, Sheldon Cooper, Dean Winchester, etc.). They kind of stand out in certain situation for dramatic effect, of course. To stand out, or to not be just another typical person is something that most people want.
Do fictional characters share the same personality as real people?
Both fictional characters share similar personality with their correspond real people. However, the possibility of the second point happening is much rarer than the first one. Considering our people today, most people are more likely to imitate fictional characters on movies and TV to have that ‘unique’ attribute the characters shows.
