For example, Sakura was often seen as the weak link of her team, her severe pettiness interfered with her relationships with her ninja peers, and she allowed her love for Sasuke to dictate her life.

She is a powerful entity by her right, but in terms of story arc handling, she’s completely useless and it’s incredibly obvious that she was only thrown in at the last moment.

Sakura is just so insensitive towards Naruto. She’s making fun of an orphan in front of her crush and thinks by demeaning Naruto, she would get some attention and importance from Sasuke. This is something much worse than the bully she experienced in her childhood, due to her big forehead.

Early on, there’s no doubt that Sakura is far from the most capable of fighters. Although she’s incredibly confident in her book-smarts, she doesn’t grasp what being a ninja really means, and isn’t suited for combat naturally like Sasuke is, nor does she have inhuman power to draw from like Naruto.
